Moon+Star Jewellery was created in April 2024 by two twenty-one-year-olds who believed that jewellery should be more than an accessory – it should be a statement, a story, and a way of celebrating individuality. What began as an idea between lectures and late-night brainstorming quickly grew into something far bigger than either of us imagined. Within weeks of launching, one of our first TikTok videos went viral and crashed the website, proving there was a hunger for jewellery that dared to be different. Suddenly we were packing orders between exams, building a brand at night, and realising that Moon+Star was more than a project – it was the start of a movement.

From the very beginning, we’ve stood for what we call a maximalist state of mind. While the world of jewellery is often dominated by quiet minimalism, we’ve always believed in more – more colour, more layering, more sparkle, more expression. Our pieces are designed to be stacked, mixed, and styled without rules, because jewellery should feel like freedom. It should reflect who you are on your loudest days and your quietest ones.

As Moon+Star has grown, so has our community. Social media gave us our first platform, but it’s the people who wear our designs and make them their own who have defined us. We’ve shared incredible moments with our customers – from the rush of Urban Outfitters pop-ups in London, Bristol, and Southampton, to community days where we’ve been able to meet the people who make this brand possible. Every message, every photo, every story shared has reminded us that Moon+Star is about connection as much as it is about jewellery.

We’ve evolved quickly – from rebranding and refining our imagery, to launching collections that reflect different sides of our vision, from delicate designs to bold enamel bangles inspired by heritage artistry. Through every stage, our goal has stayed the same: to create jewellery that feels exciting, empowering, and unapologetically you.
