Welcome to STAR GIRL DIARIES ★ - our little corner of the internet dedicated to jewellery, maximalism, styling, behind-the-scenes Moon+Star chaos and everything currently living rent free in our heads.

If you’ve somehow ended up here without knowing who we are: hi!!! We’re Moon+Star, an independent UK jewellery brand for girls who believe that one bracelet is simply never enough.

Think colourful jewellery. Stacked wrists. Statement rings. Charms. Clashing metals. Pieces collected from everywhere and worn all at once.

Basically, a maximalist state of mind.

★ SO… WHAT IS A STAR GIRL?

Being a Star Girl isn’t really about following one particular aesthetic.

She’s the girl whose jewellery you notice from across the room. Her rings don’t necessarily match. Her wrist makes noise when she moves. She’ll wear silver and gold together because someone saying you can’t automatically makes her want to do it more.

She might have a perfectly colour-coordinated bangle stack one day and throw absolutely everything together the next.

The point is that it’s hers.

We’ve always believed jewellery should feel personal. Your collection grows with you - pieces from holidays, presents from your friends, something you bought at 2am because you couldn’t stop thinking about it, and that one random ring you’ve worn every day for approximately four years.

That’s what we love about jewellery stacking. There isn’t really a finished version.

You just keep collecting.

CURRENT OBSESSION: THE WRIST STACK ★★★★★

Minimalism had a good run.

We’re bringing back wrists absolutely COVERED in jewellery.

Our favourite way to build a bangle stack is to stop worrying about everything matching perfectly. Mix colourful enamel bangles with metal bracelets, add different widths, throw in something slightly unexpected and keep going until your wrist feels like you.

Some Star Girls go full rainbow.

Some stick to two colours.

Some are gold girls.

Some are silver girls.

And some of us refuse to choose.

There are no rules here.

Moon+Star started with a love for jewellery that felt FUN again.

Not jewellery that disappears into an outfit.

Jewellery that becomes part of it.

And as our little world has grown, we’ve realised Moon+Star has become about much more than the pieces themselves. It’s the people wearing them, the stacks you create, the photos you tag us in and seeing the completely different ways you make everything your own.

So STAR GIRL DIARIES is where we’re putting all of that.

No minimalist propaganda allowed.
